There’s a factory in Europe that makes antimatter! It’s the rarest, most expensive, and potentially the most dangerous material on earth. Scientists don’t know why this material is so rare. Anti-atoms took 72 years after we discovered antimatter to make. Why?

Current estimate of Antimatter, courtesy of Elise:
Stefan Ulmer made a back-of-the-envelope calculation based on energy and power consumption. The explanation goes as follows:
1. CERN produces 3e7 antiprotons per AD cycle or about 1e15 per year
2. This is about 1e15*1.67e-27kg = 1.67 nanogram per year
3. 1 gram of antiprotons has an energy (E=mc^2) of 9e13 Joule
4. The efficiency of the antiproton production process is 1e-9, so you need a billion times more energy: 9e22 Joule
5. The cost of power for CERN is 1kWh = 3.6e6 Joule = 0.1 euro
6. So that would make 0.1/3.6e6*9e22 = 2.5e15 euro
7. And it would take CERN 6e8 years

eventually we will learn to make extraterrestrial tools .... this will be the key for manned UFO'S... and maybe time travel.

the reason you don't find antimatter on earth is for two reasons 1 it annihilate with matter, and 2 it is gravitationally repelled by matter

Maybe there wasn’t meant to be more of it, curiosity is good and all and learning new stuff to advance us is great, but when something “can’t even touch the air” maybe it’s a big warning sign from nature telling us not to go there lol Awesome videos tho

if it combusts when it reacts to our matter, that kind of answers the question why it so rare.
bill button

why? it may seem to combust in our dimension but is actually sent to another dimension where our matter is rare.

For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. Big Bang = pure energy becoming matter. Both matter, and antimatter formed at once. Fourth dimensional "sides" had most _matter_ expand into our concept of _positive time,_ while most _antimatter_ expanded into _"negative time",_ thus preserving a _fourth dimensional balance._ Any residual antimatter, in our positive time universe, was soon annihilated, when contacting matter, leaving _only matter._ Same in the _negative time universe._ But, I'm more SciFi [sorry Mr. Ellison] enthusiast, than theorist. 😜

Because you guys like to read the comments may someone lead me to more answers about who and what we really are. Read the book FORBIDDEN RELIGION. It speaks on anti-matter existing inside us but theres a war on our consciousness so we are never made aware of this. That's why this stuff is so rare and costs so much. Every human beings potential is from this divine energy that literally is like Becoming a super Saiyan Destroyer God if you can tap into. In my Maui voice "Your welcome" Now leave comments below please
